As part of this commitment, we are pleased to welcome Maya Patterson, PA-C, a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in Internal Medicine. She joins our growing team.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Maya brings a strong educational background and a genuine passion for patient care. She earned her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. Afterwards, she completed graduate studies at Louisiana State University in Shreveport. She also obtained her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brothers University.
Maya believes that quality healthcare begins with listening. Known for her attentive approach and dedication to understanding each patient’s needs, she strives to ensure that every patient feels heard, respected, and supported. This continues throughout their healthcare journey.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, medical weight loss management, ADHD treatment, and chronic condition management. With her focus on individualized care, Maya is committed to helping patients address their health concerns and make informed healthcare decisions. In addition, she helps patients work toward their long-term wellness goals.
